I started back at the gym after having very little access to it while visiting my mom in Winston-Salem, NC. Sunday night, I bought a scale and weighed myself. Currently I’m at 154.8 lbs, so basically…I’m 155.
What’s the body fat to lean muscle ratio? Not sure, but I definitely look and feel fat, especially in my midsection. It’s to the point where looking and thinking about it at times makes me sick to my stomach (ha ha ha ha!). I feel like I’m ill and unhealthy. I know that with cleaner eating and cardio, my body fat will diminish, and that this process takes a while. But sometimes I can’t help but feel out of sorts when I look at my stomach protrudes even before a meal, and how much fat covers my body to the point that even with all the work I put into myself when working out, there’s no definition or form.
I’ve got to lose this fat. So, I’ll be keeping up with my workout split, doing cardio with my four weight days, then my cardio only day, followed by a day of kickboxing to push me into fat-burn overdrive! Until I get myself some better running shoes, I’ll be on the elliptical for 35-40 minutes on Friday.
Since I’ve weighed myself for the month, I’ll keep that up and be sure to weight myself monthly to keep a record of progress…or lack thereof. I’m also gonna lift as heavy as I can for the next two to four weeks, hitting the 6-8 rep range(pushing for me if I can) and then stay in the 12-15 range, increasing my intensity.
My goal weight—-to make me feel lean and light as a feather—-is 135lb.I’m taking this in increments, though. I want to lose 10 lbs by the end of June. Not sure if it’s possible, but I’m gonna work my hardest TO do it!
Let’s get it!
